''In the times of Corona you think twice about where you can fly to or where you feel in good hands. And then as a woman alone….!
Madeira was by far the best trip I took during the Corona period. As it turned out, solo traveling @ it's best.
Just the approach to Cristiano Ronaldo Airport in Madeira is a special experience - a runway on stilts? Wow!
At the airport, Madeira offered a great service: to do a corona test or just to show the existing test.
In the Hotel Baya Azul you had to specify a time slot for breakfast so that not so many guests meet. Even on the first morning breakfast was a unique experience, because from the breakfast terrace I could watch dolphins passing in the distance. Sunrise and dolphins? Obrigada!
Funchal, Monte, Porto Moniz, Cabo Girão, Seixal, what wonderful places!
Black beaches, waterfalls and the great coastline with the seawater swimming pools in Porto Moniz are a reason to come back. Santana and Achadas Da Cruz are definitely on my list for next time! See you soon Madeira!
